Introduction

Welcome to Prishtina Center Hostel

We are thrilled to have you as our guest. The hostel was established in January 2016 by combining three apartments into one cozy place in the city center of Prishtina.

While the original charm of the apartments was maintained, extra bathrooms were added to make the hostel more practical for guests. Over the years, these apartments have been home to many families, and now we are delighted to share them with you.

Sincerely,
Prishtina Center Hostel

Our story

In 2002, our family purchased an apartment in this building and lived there together for years. Eventually, we decided to share our apartment with guests from around the world and created the cozy hostel you see today.

We hope you find the hostel to be your home away from home during your stay in Prishtina. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable.

Sincerely,
Abdullahu's Family

Albanian language

Origin of language

Albanian is an Indo-European language spoken by Albanians in the Balkans and the Albanian diaspora in the Americas, Europe and Oceania. With about 7.5 million speakers, it is an independent branch within the Indo-European languages and is not closely related to any other language.

Two dialects

Albanian has several dialects divided into two main groups: Gheg, spoken in the north, and Tosk, spoken in the south. Nowadays, the two dialects are slowly mixing.
